The MESTRA model trimmer is a strong and
robust machine, featuring the latest improvements and innovations required by a machine
of these characteristics. Its robustness can be
seen at a glance and its weight of more than 21
kg (maximum on machines of this type) added
to the use of non slip rubber feet assures perfect
stability during facing operations.
It runs noiselessly as the special resin wheel is
carefully balanced. The wheel is mounted on an
aluminium plate, thus achieving a larger working area as it has no shaft or external nut hinder grinding operation in this area. The motor is
provided with guards, giving a more compact and
harmonious appearance, while ensuring safe
operation, preventing any possible accident.
The MESTRA trimmer is equipped with an
electro-valve for electronic feed of water by
pressing a switch. This switch is protected with
a PVC insulating cover to prevent any electric
shock due to humidity. It also has an earth cable.
Water flow is directly adjusted from the machine
through an adjustment valve.
The drainage system is of lateral type,
designed to prevent clogging as the drain
hole is oversized 30 mm and the water carrying
plaster particles is driven outward by the air
turbulence generated by the wheel.
The component supporting the patterns is of
tilting type with three positions. The motor is
monophasic, and is insulated from the wet
area of the machine by means of a retainer
with a stainless steel spring for a perfect fit on
the motor shaft end. The motor shaft is made
of hardened and ground stainless steel. The
MESTRA model trimmer is entirely made of
aluminium except a few components made
of stainless steel.
The machine is painted with epoxy paint,
and always looks as good as new.
